Blackberry chia jam

Yields 250 ml jar

Ingredients

4 cups blackberries (any fruit at peak of sweetness)

1 tablespoon chia

Steps

Reserve 1 cup of the fruit. Put the remaining 3 cups of fruit in your blender and puree. Add the chia and pulse. Add the remaining 1 cup of fruit for texture. Pulse lightly if you want to break down the whole fruit a bit.

Put it in an airtight glass jar. Let it set for at least an hour. It can be kept in your fridge for one week.

Vine ripened wild blackberries have a lot of juice. If your fruit is drier, you may want to add a little water.
