Miso sesame dressing

Yields: 1 ½ cups

Ingredients

¾ cup hot water

½ cup light miso

½ cup rice wine vinegar

¼ cup mirin

2 tablespoons cane sugar

2 tablespoons sesame oil

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon powdered ginger

1 tablespoon black sesame seeds - optional

Steps

Blend hot water and miso in a high-speed blender. Blend until the miso is dissolved. Add the remaining ingredients except the sesame seeds. Blend again to emulsify. Fold in sesame seeds.

Refrigerate - serve chilled.
